Fishlocks Flowers Goes Social
04 November 2014
As well as our iconic store on Castle Street, and our website, you might also have noticed that Fishlocks has got a strong presence on social media as well, meaning you can reach us on Facebook, Twitter and now Instagram! In this blog, we take a look at the fabulous new offer that is exciting our customers all over Liverpool!
Every Friday, we give one lucky customer the chance to win a gorgeous, award-winning Fishlocks bouquet with our Instagram #fishlocksfriday competition. The rules couldn’t be simpler! We post a picture of one of bouquets, and we give all our followers a chance to repost the image using the hashtag #fishlocksfriday. We then pick a winner!
So, far we’ve given away a few bouquets as part of the competition, and there’s a chance every week for you to win! Remember, you’ve got to be involved if you want to stand a chance, so follow us on Instagram at fishlocks_liverpool, and re-post when you see the #fishlocksfriday hashtag.
We love Instagram, because it allows us to showcase the beautiful bouquets that we have in store, and show them off to all our customers! It also gives us a chance to show off some of the more colourful designs that we get to see. Last week also gave us an opportunity to post a few spooky Halloween themed photos as well!
Recently, we posted a shot of some fabulous Rainbow Roses, which look absolutely stunning! They almost don’t look real, but we can assure you that they are not an optical illusion! Over 200 people liked our photo of the roses, and we got lots of interest from customers who wanted a bouquet or just a stem to impress a loved on with!
We’re also big fans of Twitter, another great social media network that allows us to connect with our customers and also other businesses in Liverpool who want us to deliver a beautiful bouquet to their premises.
Social media has enabled us to connect with customers across the world, including the young man from Italy who wanted some flowers to impress his girlfriend here in Liverpool! They were a real life Romeo and Juliet, and we were delighted to be able to help him fulfil his wish and deliver a lovely bouquet to his girlfriend.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
